K8s IDE/Observability Replacement as OpenLens/Aptakube

OpensLens and Aptakube are valuable k8s tools fro devops engineers but expensive and no longer “open” but still lack expansive functionality. They provide key viability though without deep knowledge of kubctl commands and other advanced CLI functionality or even for quick fixes and visibility to issues. As suggested in other features such as analyzers and recommendations for issues the agent should be able to detect and send recommendations on resolving cluster issues and most importantly - HOW to solve them.

• Highlight issues within a cluster, node or pods

• Highlight diffs and changes across clusters

• Compare resources across different clusters or namespaces. Report differences in resource configurations and easily identify differences between clusters, nodes and apps

• Highlight undersized containers, warning events, recent restarts, recycling of pods/nodes

• Get a quick overview of CPU and Memory metrics across nodes and apps

• Log query direct to Splunk, S3 bucket, Loki, etc
